The Task was to make a 3D sculpture using mutton cloth and/or tights. Then once glued and dried to dress it on the stand and see how it fits.
The first process was to use chairs + tables to create a form to cling film up to create a unique shape to work with
Then once we were happy we started covering with the material and we decided to fully emerge the sculpture in a tube of mutton cloth so all the contour lines could be captured. A single pair of tights were added to pull the cloth in tight resulting in a sweeping black line which works great.
Above is the final shape which you can sorta see its original origins but the square surface area of the table has merged it into a unique shape.
